Nawa Nepal Sudhar Kendra is a rehabilitation center dedicated to providing comprehensive care for individuals struggling with addiction. Established in 2068 B.S., our center is located in the serene surroundings of Tokha-2, Sanpantirtha, Dhapasi.

Our Director
Mr. Dinesh Adhikari, the Managing Director, is a pivotal figure responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility operations. He is tasked with providing strategic leadership, managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the overall effectiveness of the center programs. The MD collaborates with medical professionals, counselors, and support staff to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individuals needs. In addition to administrative duties, the MD plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for both patients and staff. He possesses strong communication skills to effectively address challenges, resolve conflicts, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The MD also represents the rehabilitation center in the community, building partnerships with local organizations, government agencies, and healthcare providers to enhance access to resources and support for individuals struggling with addiction. Mr. Dinesh Adhikari is a dedicated leader committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by substance abuse, guiding them towards recovery and a healthier future.
Our Doctor
Dr. Abhishekh received his degree in MBBS from Rangpur Community Medical College, Bangladesh. He has 3+ years of working experience and is pursuing a residency in the United States of America. He is a GENERAL PRACTITIONER A NMC (Nepal Medical Council) & MMDC (Maldives Medical & Dental Council) certified doctor with 3+ years of clinical experience, devoted to providing top-quality healthcare to patients in need with NMC no. 28674 He is a dedicated and compassionate physician committed to providing exemplary medical care and improving the well-being of my patients. With a blend of clinical expertise, ongoing education, and a patient-centered approach, he strives to deliver personalized healthcare solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual under his care. Successfully managing an Nawa Upakar Nepal Sudhar Kendra with 200+ patients, he has approached various health related issues and complications related to health, substance abuse, psychiatric and behavioral disorders.
Our Psychologist
Dr. Bipin Thapa is a PhD scholar in clinical psychology has been actively involved with various organizations and institutions in this field. He is a juvenile psychologist from Patan District Court, psychologist and counselor under the Nepal police wife association in Aasara Sudhar Kendra. He is the Department head and lecturer of Orient College, Basundhara and an OCM Level trainer in the National Police Academy in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. In addition, he is also an Addiction counselor at Atman, an expressive arts therapy and healing center. He is a member of the International Humanist Youth Organization and member of the Society of Humanism Nepal(SOCH). He has trained addiction counselor supervisors from Australia. At Nawaupakar Nepal Sudhar Kendra, he plays a pivotal role in supporting individuals recovering from various physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. He has been working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and promote the well-being and functional independence of our patients.
Our Counselor
Reena Ghimire currently serves as the counselor/ case manager at Nawa Upakar Nepal Sudar Kendra, Tokha. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and social work and had internships at Atman, an expressive arts therapy and healing center. For the past three years, she has been working as a teacher at Prolific Secondary School. She is an active board member of Leo Club of Kathmandu Creative. She has attended different workshops and has continued volunteering work in the community. She helps guide individuals through the journey of recovery from substance abuse, addiction, or other behavioral health disorders. She primarily focuses on providing comprehensive support, assistance, and resources to clients as they navigate the challenges of rehabilitation and work toward reclaiming their lives. She is passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes.
